      CENTURY 21 Sutton Coldfield, the estate and letting agency experts, this week revealed the latest market statistics on the time it has taken to sell a home in the UK. This has provided a positive measure for those potentially looking at selling their property.

      The latest statistics from property portal, Rightmove, revealed that on average across the UK, homes are taking 57 days to sell. This is the lowest number for six years since 2010 and is significantly down on the 79 days measured in January this year.

      Asking prices for properties coming onto the market also reveal an increase with the average UK asking price increasing by 0.8% in May, up to £310,471.

      CENTURY 21 Sutton Coldfield believes these statistics show the underlying strength of the property market and suggest that fears around the EU Referendum are not putting buyers off, if the homes are priced realistically.
