You can register your interest in a property online through RightMove and can arrange a viewing at a time convenient to you. We offer viewings up until 9pm in the evening and on both Saturdays and Sundays.
What do you need to do?
Make sure that you can pay a month's rent in advance on the day you move in and place with us a holding deposit equivalent to a month's rent plus £100. Once the tenancy commences we will lodge your deposit in the government approved Deposit Protection Scheme and you will get your full deposit back at the end of the let so long as you look after the property and make sure that you don't damage anything beyond what is 'fair, wear & tear'.
When you take the property, be prepared to sign a legally binding lease and if you share with someone over 18 years old, you are jointly responsible for them and for their part of the rent as well your own - so make sure that you know them well before you decide to move in together!
Remember you are also responsible for Council Tax, the utilities and phone bills, and the TV licence so make sure you allow sufficient in your budget for these things too. We can always advise you on the likely cost at each property.
