Clarke Hillyer was formed when Clarkes, one of East London's oldest firms of Chartered Surveyors, joined forces with Hillyer's, North London's leading property auctioneers, to establish an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents.
Clarkes began practicing in Walthamstow in 1885 and developed a reputation of quality for surveying and estate agency services. Records show an involvement in property auctions dating back to 1892.
Hillyers have been based in Tottenham since 1900 and have a long standing tradition in property management and professional work.
