    Once, estate agents were estate agents. Nowadays, they're often lawyers, mortgage brokers and letting agents too - but not at Corum. We work exclusively in estate agency, meaning we devote 100% of our time doing what our customers want: securing the best price for their property.

    The agency's original founding partners worked together at one of the largest estate agencies in the country, until a company takeover led to a wholesale focus on Financial Services - a move reflected across the industry as a whole. It prompted the team's departure to set up the privately owned, dedicated estate agency Corum in 2003.

     11 years on those founding partners, together with their enhanced team of additional experienced partners and associates, which include some of the most experienced negotiators in the business, have established nine branches in property hotspots throughout the west of Scotland, making us the most locally knowledgeable.

    Ewan Blair - Partner
    Ewan has been in the Estate Agency business since 1990. Originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, his technical background has provided a sound footing for a career specialising in residential sales including New Homes, Redevelopment Schemes,  Development Appraisal and Investment Acquisition .

    Ewan then qualified in 2002 as a Residential Surveyor and joined Corum in 2005 as a Partner to head up the Shawlands branch and capitalise on his in-depth knowledge of the South Side as a whole, focusing particularly on Newlands and Pollokshields.

    Lynsey Smith - Senior Consutlant
    Lynsey brings a wealth of sales experience, having held executive sales positions with prestige brands including Mercedes-Benz and BMW. 

    Since joining Corum in 2003, Lynsey quickly established herself as an integral part of Corum's Senior Management Team, assuming the role of Branch Manageress in Shawlands in 2005. 

    Lynsey's endless energy and positive manner bring both focus and passion to each and every client sale, as reflected in the continued success of the Shawlands office.

    Alastair Reid - Associate Partner
    Having graduated in 2005 with a BA Honours degree in Marketing, Alastair joined Corum in 2007 at the thriving Shawlands office to be trained by residing partner Ewan Blair. After a structured period of guidance and instruction, Alastair became fluent in the skills necessary to value residential property and more importantly the expertise required of an all-round Estate Agent. 

    Promoted to Associate Partner in 2010, Alastair now controls the middle market in which Corum operates whilst still expanding his knowledge on a daily basis. Alastair has lived in the Southside of Glasgow for some 30 years, currently in Langside and has an incisive knowledge of his local area. His growing client base is frequently in touch to seek advice and many are now regarded as close friends.

    Lesley Sim - Senior Sales Consultant
    Lesley was at a leading Corporate Estate Agent in the West of Scotland when approached by the Corum Partnership in 2005 to come on board as a Sales Negotiator/Branch Manageress. Lesley was instrumental in setting up Corum's highly successful branch in Bridge of Weir where she currently resides. Originally from Aberdeen, her career began in the 1980's managing the Property Department of a large Solicitor firm.  

    Lesley joined the Shawlands branch in 2008 and is an integral member of the team. Her calm controlled manner is a huge asset and with extensive local knowledge and a head for figures she has proved she can generate results in what has been a challenging market.
