Our agency was in the planning for 5 years before we opened our doors in 2006, during that time we had bought & sold through most local agents, some good and sadly some bad, using this personal experience and our own innovation “Crofts” was born. All too often we have had complaints from vendors that when using other agents there was never enough feedback or updates on their properties sale. This will never happen with “Crofts” we are committed to providing regular feedback to our clients.

You will be notified of all activity regarding your property and advised of the current market conditions, this will be followed up by a monthly detailed report if required. This reassurance will hopefully give you the confidence that we are working hard to sell your property and more importantly earn the fees that we charge!

HOW DO “CROFTS” FEES WORK?

One of our highly experienced valuation team will visit your property to provide an appraisal and valuation. The valuation will be based on a number of factors; type and age of the property, comparable properties recently sold or on the market, saleability of the property and location to name but a few. This information combined with our qualified staffs expansive local property knowledge forms the basis of the valuation. As you can see each valuation is unique to every single property, with this factor in mind at Crofts we have opted for a fee scale that works to the same principle with a choice of packages available. You are unique and so is your property so we will propose a sales package tailored to your individual needs.

OUR SALES SHOWROOM

We are still the newest Cleethorpes agency and have the largest showroom with customer facilities second to none. We have provided in addition to spacious well illuminated property displays, a comfortable customer seating area where potential buyers can view your property details at their leisure, stress free, whilst enjoying a complimentary drink. New proposals with planning passed already will give Crofts, possibly the finest window, most modern internal display and high profile high street presence in the whole of Lincolnshire.

During our market research one question that was asked of the general public was: “When would you BE MOST LIKELY TO LOOK FOR A PROPERTY TO PURCHASE” In 9 out of 10 responses the answer was “at the weekend.” When you consider that most people that are in the position to buy property are at work Monday to Friday, we see it as common sense that an estate agent should be open both on Saturday and Sunday. The internet has become the main tool in helping people to find properties and with this in mind Crofts advertise upon a number of web portals such as our own newly redesigned web site www.croftsestateagents.co.uk and off course Rightmove the UK’s largest web portal and many more.

We also advertise on a regular basis is our local Property Guide which is supplied free of charge every Friday dinnertime with the Grimsby Telegraph. Often people will pop out on their lunch break pick up a Property Guide and create a shortlist of properties to view, but then have to wait until they have finished work before they can book a viewing, unfortunately the estate agents will then be closed, so they have to wait until Saturday. To cater to this need we open late night on Fridays, so when the perfect buyer for your property wants to book a viewing we are here, open and ready

Catering for Our Younger Clients:
Of course we all love our little ones, but children get bored when the “grown ups” are talking about the serious things in life such as buying a house, and can become a distraction for parents. To combat this we have provided a separate children's area with TV and DVD player with a selection of children's favourites.
