The team at Crucible has more than 40 years local experience between them and they believe that comprehensive marketing is one of the keys to finding quality tenants and buyers quickly.
As well as the traditional sign boards and regular advertisements in local papers, Crucible also invests heavily in advertising on the major internet portals that are now so popular for most home seekers. “The key to finding a tenant or buyer quickly is to get the marketing going straight away and to reach people that will be the best possible match for the property. We use a combination of old fashioned local knowledge and state of the art systems to help us ensure that our clients have a stress free experience and most importantly, are able to find a buyer or tenant as fast as possible.
“On the letting side, the only real problem we have is that we need more properties to let so we need many more landlords that can help us to satisfy the demand from potential tenants” says Jab Bains, who is running the Rotherham office.
Crucible is now finding that rental demand is particularly strong for two and three bedroom homes. “Clearly the supply of smaller apartments locally is close to matching or exceeding demand, however we are generally able to rent family homes really quickly” says Jab, “the lack of new homes that are being built and the difficulties that buyers are having obtaining mortgages has certainly led to increased demand for rented houses”
Crucible has another potential plus point that makes it different according to Wendi Turner; “Although we operate entirely independently, we are wholly owned by Sheffield based South Yorkshire Housing Association so, of course, we share their highly ethical values which are focussed around providing a first class service that is seen to be open and honest for all clients.
