Established in 2006 David & Co are now one of the leading independent estate agents at Fiveways,Brighton successfully selling all types of residential property throughout the city of Brighton & Hove.

With over 45 years of experience in residential sales and with our extensive knowledge of the local property market, we are able to offer a comprehensive service to our clients based on traditional values whilst using the latest innovations and technology. We are therefore able to offer an individual high quality service to both buyers and sellers alike with a view of taking out the stress and hassle of moving.

The office occupies a prominent corner site and offers highly visual and stylish modern premises which are light, open and welcoming to clients. The partners decided on a recognizable company logo/brand in red, white and black with the distinctive double D's denoting the two David's of the company.

David Whittle - Partner

David is married and lives locally in the area and started his estate agency career in 1982 with an independent estate agent at Fiveways. After progressing quickly through the ranks he was soon successfully managing and improving the performance of a number of corporate estate agent offices in both the Fiveways and Preston Park areas. David is very well known in the area and has long standing associations with many clients and values repeat business very highly as recognition of a service well received. With over 30 years experience of selling homes in the local area he was keen some years ago to establish his own estate agency business which with the help of his business partner David Coleby he made this a reality in 2006 when David & Co was formed. Outside of work, David is interested in many sports and enjoys keeping fit being a keen marathon runner and ultra runner and enjoys nothing more than spending time on the South Downs with his two border collies.

David Coleby - Partner

David is married and lives just outside Brighton, he has worked in the Brighton & Hove area for some 35 years covering most parts of the city, managing offices for local independent firms as well as large corporate groups before starting his own firm with David Whittle at Fiveways some 10 years ago. He is far better suited to the independent estate agency where its more about the people and he prefers the chance to build relationships whilst being friendly and professional. He really appreciates it when feedback like this is sent in as it means the client has gone away happy. 'The main reason we decided to put our house on the market with them was their gentle professional approach. They weren't pushy and really understood our needs and the market in the area. David & Co assisted in the negotiations and made it possible to buy and sell at the prices we needed to be able to make the move. Even though the moving experience had its predictable hold-ups, David & Co, were very good in keeping us informed and spent a lot of time and effort in keeping us up to date with proceedings. I could happily recommend them to anyone' One of the best feelings is when you hand over the keys and know no you have helped in making the clients dream come true. Outside of work travel is always top of the list with the annual pilgrimage to the 24hr Le Mans race a firm favourite.
