    Durrants celebrated 160 years in 2013 giving us an un-rivalled wealth of experience and expertise. Established in 1853 by George Durrant the company has developed into a multi-discipline firm that has excellent knowledge of the local area with departments covering residential sales and lettings, agricultural, commercial, on site auctions, planning and design, building surveying, auction rooms and holiday lettings.

     We are based in five locations throughout Norfolk & Suffolk (Diss, Harleston, Halesworth, Beccles and Southwold) and at the Mayfair Office in London.

    Whilst evolving and taking a modern approach in all aspects of the business, the firm has maintained its traditional family values and is now in its 5th generation with Nick Durrant at the helm.     New Rates to be paid on the part of the property that falls within each band.

    0 - £125,000     - 0%

    £125001 - £250,000   -2%

    £250001 - £925,000   - 5%

    £925001 - £1,500,000   - 10%

    £1,500,001 and over    - 12%

    JOHN BAXTER - MANAGER
    Graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) degree in Communication Studies. He has been involved in estate agency since 1996, joining Durrants in 2004 as a negotiator. Appointed assistant manager in 2007, took over the reins of the residential department in 2008. Member of the National Association of Estate Agents, qualifying in 2007. Away from the office John is an avid sportsman & is particularly keen in football.

    Joined the company full time in the summer of 2005. Stacey was the first member of staff to qualify as a letting agent and has subsequently qualified as an estate agent, passing both of the technical awards with flying colours and being awarded the Student of the Year Award from the Suffolk branch of the National Association of Estate Agents in 2009.
