In April 2000 Andrew Harvey formed the Financial Advice Centre at Hamleys Corner in Par. He was responsible for expanding the company, which now has five offices and six Financial Advisors. The Financial Advice Centre has worked hard to establish a reputation for honest, straight forward Financial Advice and has now become one of the largest Independent Financial Advice practices in Cornwall. In November 2008 Andrew and his wife Patricia opened a sister company, FAC Properties, which is a Lettings company.
Building on the success of this venture at Hamley’s Corner, Eastcliffe Road, Par, FAC have expanded their Residential Sales business into premises at 3, Mount Folly Square, Bodmin. These premises were previously used as an Estate Agency for many years before becoming home to the F.A.C group in 2009.
Par is very close to the World Class Eden Project and also only a couple of miles away from the newly redeveloped town of St Austell, whose shopping centre opened recently. Par is on the mainline rail network and has our branch has free parking directly outside the office.
The town of Bodmin is situated in the centre of Cornwall enabling easy access to both North and South coasts. There are local, regional and national outlets on the main shopping street together with banks and supermarkets. There is also a hospital and health centres.
Andrew said “we have exciting plans for the Bodmin office over the coming months and years. We have employed two experienced sales people, demonstrating our long-term commitment to Bodmin. We have been successful in achieving sales from St Austell to Bodmin and the clay villages to Liskeard. We have found that in doing the simple things correctly, such as providing regular feedback and good initial advertising and presentation, success will follow.”
