Ferndown Estates, Marston Green
Ferndown Estates is a family run business. Father and son team, John and Ian Crampton set up Ferndown originally in March 2000.
During 2003 it was decided to open an estate agents in Marston Green, Birmingham; more by popular demand than anything else. The local community were in need of an alternative outlet for buying and selling their properties. It also seemed a natural progression as this would compliment the mortgage and general insurance business that was already being written.
Landlords and tenants were also in need of an alternative, and so the property management side of the company was set up at the same time. This has proved very popular with landlords looking for a full management service.
The shop opened in June 2003, and immediately made an impact. Local residents were soon putting their properties up for sale with Ferndown, and landlords came looking for tenants.
John and Ian are delighted with the progress that has been made so far, and that is thanks largely to the fantastic team of staff we have at Ferndown. They understand that customer service is top of our list of priorities at Ferndown, unlike many other organisations these days!
