Force & Sons is an independent family run estate agency, which has been in existence since 1790, making it one of the oldest family run firms in the Country.
The founder was John Force, a builder and auctioneer, who had premises in Cathedral Yard, Exeter.
In 1820, he moved with his son, Charles, to Sidwell Street, Exeter only yards from the present Head Office. It was at this time the firm expanded into estate agency.
8 Generations later and the firm now has three offices, having expanded into Dawlish in 1982 and Teignmouth in 2001. It is a thriving residential and commercial estate agency with a strong lettings and property management department.
There has been a continuous family involvement in the firm throughout its history. It is currently run by senior partner, Arthur Force, with his two sons David and Stephen.
The partners and staff all pride themselves on providing a friendly and professional service, backed by years of experience and the commitment which you will only find in a truly independent firm.
