Foster Madison Property Consultants was established in February 2005 by Neil Foster and Dan Maddison, both former Directors of Clark Scott-Harden Limited with many years experience of the property market in the region.

The Company specialises in high quality residential estate agency with a particular skill for handling unusual and individual property transactions. Residential Letting and Property Management account for almost twenty percent of the business and the professional team also provides a wide range of valuation, survey and investment advice to a broad spectrum of public and private clients.

Property Development accounts for an increasing amount of the business. We advise on the sale and purchase of greenfield and brownfield land for both residential and commercial development and work closely with a team of local building surveyors and architects to provide a ‘one stop shop’ service, linking our strategic development and planning skills through to the agency team where required.

Newcastle Office
We are one of four residential estate agents operating from premises in Grey Street, the historic heart of Grainger Town and one of the most recognisable streetscapes in the country.

The office provides both sale and rental services and caters principally for sub-urban and city clients whilst acting as a gallery for the promotion of rural and market town properties to city based buyers - an increasingly important link between city and country.

Grey Street is also home to our residential survey and professional valuation department.

Hexham Office
The traditional heartland of the former J M Clark & Partners ‘empire’ and a marketplace which we consider more important to the business today than ever before. Hexham and the Tyne Valley are the primary destinations for buyers moving into the region and migrating out of Tyneside.

With an excellent reputation in the country house market and a substantial Residential Letting & Management department and also being home to the Ground Rent and Property Management team, the Hexham Office is the foundation of the Company and enjoys an enviable reputation in the local marketplace.

Lanchester Office
Foster Maddison already operates in the Lanchester area and the addition of the new office will strengthen commitment to sale and letting clients throughout County Durham.
