Town Homes
  • paragraph

Foundation Town Homes provides outstanding marketing and exceptional service to the residents of Canterbury, Faversham and Whitstable. We know that Faversham and Canterbury share many similarities that appeal to buyers, such as the convenience of town or city living, a wealth of period properties and excellent road and rail links - including the high speed rail service to London.

These similarities mean that we have many buyers who are happy to look in either location and, as we accompany our viewings, often we are able to spot opportunities to recommend alternative properties that certain buyers may have never even considered previously.

We also find that many clients from our Village Homes brand will consider buying a property in a town such as Whitstable due to it's relaxed seaside charm.

Therefore, this regional approach to estate agency utilizes the flow of buyers between the towns and the villages and we see far more opportunities to create a sale than many conventional 'town' agents. This is because typically, agents who are based in just one town can be far more focussed on finding a buyer solely from within that particular market and often cannot offer the maximum exposure which our regional coverage creates.

    London Buyers
    image cannot be displayed

In recent years there has been a dramatic increase in buyer migration to this area from London. This is due to our excellent road and rail links to the capital and the comparative value for money that property in East Kent offers.

Therefore, to truly maximise your chances of selling, we know just how important it is that we reach these buyers.

Through our central London office, situated in Park Lane, we are able to display all of our properties to discerning London buyers. This prestigious office has a full complement of staff and external touch screen televisions, enabling potential buyers to access all of the properties offered by Guild members, across the entire country.

We also regularly advertise in the Living South Resident magazine which is a highly regarded lifestyle magazine, hand delivered to discerning households throughout the affluent south east London boroughs such as East and West Dulwich. This enjoys a regular readership in excess of 76,000, with over 80% of its readers either senior professionals or working within professional management. In addition, the Guilds own property magazine is produced regularly and gives our properties exposure into South London.

Through our membership we receive referrals from our colleagues across the country for buyers looking to move to Kent. This national coverage will undoubtedly help our sellers to reach as wide a market as possible and therefore achieve the maximum price for their property.

Furthermore, for any of our clients who are looking to sell in Kent and relocate to another part of the UK, we can put them in touch with trusted professionals who can provide sound advice, detailed local knowledge and a wide range of properties within the area in which they are looking.

The Guild has a national website for all its members' properties www.guildproperty.co.uk which can also be accessed via external touch screen televisions at the Park Lane office. They also produce superb quality lifestyle and property magazines which are distributed throughout the network on a six weekly cycle.

For some people, the thought of showing a complete stranger around their home can be a little daunting. For others it may be the pressures of work or a busy family life that makes accommodating viewers difficult. But, whatever the reason, at Foundation we are only too happy to help and firmly believe in accompanying our viewing appointments.

Furthermore, we passionately believe that as a result of accompanying our viewings we are able to arrange considerably more sales, as this helps us to far better understand the requirements of our buyers.

It means that someone with years of experience in dealing with both people and property will always be on hand to ease any concerns and overcome any objections that a buyer may have.

But, if that property really doesn't suit that particular buyer, we are also in the right place at the right time to suggest alternatives that may be more appropriate. We know that we won't win them all - but sometimes just having us there can make all the difference!

    Testimonials from Sellers

You went beyond the 'call of duty'

      Mr & Mrs S - Canterbury

We are really thrilled and absolutely grateful for all the help you have given us. We'd definitely recommend you to anyone who would like to sell a house. (I was recommended you by a friend a couple of years back: " They actually sell houses." And it's true.) We do understand how much effort has gone into selling our house and every penny of your commission is well earned. And not only did you sell our property, you also made it as painless as possible. You were always available for our queries and did help us with decisions which were sometimes more difficult to make because of the distance involved. You went beyond the 'call of duty' and switched the water off, etc. It is very much appreciated and we hope you have lots more successful sales and happy clients.

      I always felt supported

      Mr & Mrs P - Faversham

Now that I have settled in (and actually have e mail!) I thought I would take the opportunity to make contact and thank you for your services in selling my house and purchasing the oast. I thought that the process went very smoothly (with only a couple of minor blips!) and I always felt supported and knew that I could call for help if needed. When I started the process I actually hadn't heard of Foundation and assumed I would use one of the town estate agents. I asked you to value my home because I thought it would make it easier with purchasing the oast, and I was certain straight away that I would trust you to deal with my sale. It was nice that you never pushed me into anything, and I appreciated that you answered all of my questions with patience, even though they were sometimes probably quite stupid. I will definitely recommend you to others, and hope that when I have finished doing up the house you will pop round to take a look, and possibly revalue it for me.

We rate this Estate Agents above all others

      Mr & Mrs M - Whitstable

We were very pleased that you marketed our 4 bedroom detached house in Whitstable and the quality of your work was outstanding. All the people in your office came to see our house so that when clients asked details about the house they could talk on the subject authoritatively. Indeed the brochure, pdf files on the internet and the excellent photos and plan show what an excellent professional organisation, Foundation Property Services are. The other thing we noted was that staff answered the telephone quickly, efficiently and were always polite. When someone said they would ring you back they always did! We rate this Estate Agents above all others and recommend the company to any who wish to market their property in Kent.

Foundation are the best I have come across

      Mr & Dr H - Canterbury

We enjoyed perfect service from Foundation and the value of having an agent who actively engaged in pushing the conveyancing process along was invaluable as opposed to one that agrees the deal and then isn't heard of again until completion. My previous job meant I experienced many, many estate agents and I can honestly say Foundation are the best I have come across offering very good value for money and high quality, professional service with advice on selling your property that is not simply 'what you want to hear' but realistic and genuinely achievable. We've seen other people use other agents who dazzle them with unrealistic valuations of their homes and they didn't sell, had to come down in price and drag the whole process out. Foundation achieved our sale swiftly and efficiently and managed the whole chain far more than any other agent to achieve the completion we planned for and we can't recommend them enough.

had it not been for your help and guidance

      Mr & Mrs P - Faversham

Many thanks to the team at Foundation for helping us through the process of selling our property and finding a new home. We quite simply would have given up had it not been for your help and guidance and we most certainly would never have found our wonderful new cottage. Thank you all so much for your support and professionalism.
