GOODFELLOWS IS ONE OF SURREY’S PREMIER ESTATE AGENCY, NEW HOMES AND LETTINGS GROUPS.
From a single office opened in 1990 we now have a network of estate agency, Lettings and Land & New Homes offices spanning North East Surrey and South West London Three of the original directors Christopher Lines, Martin Humphreys and George Morgan are actively involved in the day to day running of the company ensuring continuity of the service ethos which has been the bedrock of our values.
Despite its close proximity to London, you don’t have to look far to find some hidden pockets of green space and countryside and understand why people are choosing this area to live.
The local schools - primary schools, high schools, grammar schools and private schools are highly sought after and cater for all ages.
The area is home to a thriving multi-cultural community and celebrates the community spirit at numerous events during the year. The Bait’ul Futuh Mosque is the largest Mosque in Western Europe and covers 5.2 acres of land. It is close to Morden South railway and Morden Underground station.
One of the many attractions of Morden is Morden Hall Park – a National Trust park which covers 125 acres – its main entrance is only a quarter of a mile from the Tube station. Left to the National Trust by Gilliat Edward Hatfeild, it is a tranquil space of meadows and running water and is a haven for wildlife, having originally been a deer park. Many of the estate buildings are used by local craftspeople and artisans as workshops. There’s a café, second hand bookshop and a living green centre as well.
Morden has a thriving high street and is also home to the Civic Centre and Library. As people look for somewhere to move out of London they regularly choose Morden and the surrounding areas. Morden has it all when it comes to transport links to London. With buses, underground, trams and trains, as well as good road links, there’s every option available.
