It was announced in the Autumn Statement that the Government will be banning all tenants fees from Letting Agents and Landlords "as soon as possible".
This change will have an obvious effect on the industry, with most agents reporting that a significant % of their income comes from tenants fees to cover their costs.
If the letting agents are losing a large percentage of their income, the likelihood is that these costs will be passed back to the landlord to pay in the form of higher landlord fees, thus reducing the profitability of your investment.

In 1991 a man called Mark left the comfort of working for a corporate estate agent to set up on his own and Homes Partnership was born. Mark's ethos was to provide exceptional customer service to build a business on repeat custom, so when he headhunted Tracy Smith, our Director, she did not hesitate. We opened our doors in the middle of a recession and worked hard with a small team of like-minded people to quickly become one of the busiest agencies in Crawley. Tracy learnt a lot of from Mark over the nine years that followed until September 2000 when, in partnership with Tracy's friend & colleague Fiona, they bought him out. Tracy and Fiona managed the business together until 2007 when Tracy bought her out too; make no mistake, Tracy is a bit of a control freak!
The market was very different in 1991 to what we have now; depressed from the recession, it was a tough time. We set about trying to provide an over-and-above service to the homeowners and investors trying to sell or let, rather than simply being left around for months on end. When times are hard, that is when most people realise they need the support and guidance only a true expert with the right approach can give.
It was almost immediately that we built our reputation as the true experts in the town, a reputation that is still going strong over 25 years later.
Nowadays we have lots of modern technologies to help us be as effective as possible; floorplans, professional photography, email, responsive websites, LED window displays to name but a few! These have all been embraced by us and provided to our clients to make sure they are happy with the marketing we provide. All the technology in the world however means very little without the most important ingredient of all; the right people. That's where we excel!
Our office is located in a Grade II listed building in the historic High Street in Crawley, and this has been our home since the very beginning.
