    Knightsbridge is synonymous with exclusivity and luxury - it's one of the most sought after areas in the whole of London when it comes to property. There are hundreds of reasons why people flock to live in Knightsbridge - including the fact it is home to a selection of elegant old properties, as well as ultra modern apartments and flats.

    Knightsbridge is home to many amenities, including St Paul's Church, but it's most famous landmark is the department store Harrods. You'd be forgiven for thinking that Harrods is the only luxury shop in the area, but the simple fact is the streets are lined with them! From clothes to electronics, there's nothing you can't buy in Knightsbridge from one of the many impressive shops that are based in the area. There are also lots of higher end restaurants and bars in the district - a favourite with celebrities.

    In terms of property, you'll struggle to find a more expensive sale than the £100 million apartment bought in one of Knightsbridge's new high rises. This price tag just reinforces the fact people want property in Knightsbridge and they're willing to pay whatever it takes to make it theirs.

    The area is very well served in terms of public transport. There's no shortage of black cabs in the area, and there are also a number of bus routes that run through Knightsbridge. The area plays host to several tube stations and it's just a short hop away from London's tourist hubs such as Leicester Square.
