    Holden Estate Agents are an independent firm of estate agents based in the historic market town of Maldon.

    Since opening in January 2010 we have quickly established ourselves as one of the leading estate agents in the area. We offer a proactive and enthusiastic approach to buying and selling homes. This helps us to achieve our primary aim of combining traditional values and expert local knowledge with an energetic and modern estate agency service.

    We offer all of our customers the highest level of personal and professional service, working in their best interests at all times. Co-directors Ryan Holden and Phil Cumbers, together with Darryl Humphreys, have a wealth of experience of over 50 years in the local property market. This enables us to provide honest expert help and advice.

    We believe our office at 15 High Street, Maldon is one of the most prominent buildings at the top end of the High Street. This iconic Grade II listed building has always been close to our hearts, both Phil and Ryan started their careers many years ago at 15 High Street. Our historic building holds a prominent position in the town, known for being an estate agency for many years.

    Phil Cumbers - Director

    Phil, co-director and co-founder of Holden Estate Agents, has a strong knowledge of the local area having been born and raised in the Maldon district. He also has over 16 years' estate agency experience. His career started in Maldon with Taylors where he and Ryan originally met. Phil quickly worked his way up the company ladder with Taylors and maintained a longstanding managerial position both in the Maldon and Colchester area.Phil says, "We have been open for over 5 years now, and I am proud of the level of service we are able to offer buyers and sellers within the Maldon district." Phil lives in West Bergholt with his wife Shelley and their son Parker. Outside work Phil enjoys attending Colchester United when able, watching cricket and spending quality time with friends and family.

    Ryan Holden - Director

    Ryan, co-director and co-founder of Holden Estate Agents, has a wealth of property experience spanning over 24 years.His career started in 1993 as a trainee at an independent estate agency. Ryan then went on to develop an established career at Taylors where he met Phil. Ryan says, "as co-director of Holden Estate Agents I have ensured our business has the right tools and services to provide all of our customers with the highest level of service and professionalism, particularly in today's challenging property market."Ryan lives in Chelmsford with his wife Gemma and their three children, Bailey, Mylie and Lois. Out of work, Ryan's hobbies and interests include fishing, hiking, skiing, golf and spending quality time with family and friends.
