    Our letting department has been established for a considerable number of years and the department takes pride in offering a level of service of the highest quality to both tenants and landlords.

    Our Bournemouth office has a large portfolio of rental properties, which we are always keen to expand. We specialise in quality accommodation which appeals to the professional tenant. Demand from new tenants means that we are always seeking new landlords and properties. Maintaining client care is our top priority and we pride ourselves on the level of service we provide to our valued clients before, during and after the tenancy.

    Our Winton office, which opened in 2007 has proved extremely successful and specialises in student lets, as well as standard residential lettings.

    Joining House & Son in 2014, after relocating to Bournemouth, as a member of the lettings team Douglas was promoted to Residential sales in early 2017.     Anna has been a Bournemouth resident since 2002. She thrives in her role as Residential Sales Secretary and has done since she started with House and Son in 2012. Born in Latvia Anna has lived and worked in and enjoyed many countries and cultures in her life, learning to speak three languages fluently. Since settling in Bournemouth Anna has developed a love of admin and customer care as she developed in Hotel Management before working for House and Son. Outside work Anna likes travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

    Denise Birr - Winton Assistant Lettings Manager
    Denise has been working in residential lettings for 11 years, starting at an Independent agency in Charminster, working primarily with students and properties to suit them. She started House & Son in Winton in 2007 and since then Denise has increased the portfolio with her professionalism, knowledge, and rapport with both landlords and Tenants, both are equally important. Due to increasing the lettings portfolio we expanded the business and employed 3 full-time members of staff in the Winton office to date. Further to having my son in 2014, I have returned to the office, working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I have also been promoted to Assistant Lettings Manager since my return and am enjoying the new challenges that I am faced with, in my new role.

    Simon Spofforth - Winton Lettings Negotiator 
    Simon has lived in Bournemouth for over 12 years and has taken on the role of Lettings Administrator. He carries out a variety of administrative duties, from liaising with Landlords and contractors to facilitate maintenance, repairs and property improvements to listening to potential new tenants needs to find them their ideal home. Simon has previously worked in a variety of roles from recruitment and care industries to the cleaning industry. Outside of work Simon enjoys socialising, traveling, theatre and cinema.

      If you are looking to sell a property, House & Son are absolutely outstanding estate agents and we cannot recommend them highly enough!We had the great fortune of being personally recommended to contact the excellent Sharon Gould at House & Son by someone who, at that time, had recently used her to sell his home. He was very familiar with several estate agents in the area, yet specifically recommended House & Son. We have been dealing with them for the past 11 months or so in relation to the sale of a property in Poole, which completed recently.Sharon Gould - with the assistance of the very professional Doug Gates - has been utterly amazing throughout. This was not a particularly easy process for us, because the property had been rented for in the region of 75 years and we had little personal knowledge of the property. She also followed up - in her incredibly efficient way - with other parties connected with the sale to enable this to go through. She liaised not only between us and the purchaser, but also with all those connected with the purchaser who needed to act so as to ensure that our sale could take place. For example, when it came to the second purchaser, they needed to sell their flat before they could complete on our house. Sharon seemed to be chasing everyone connected with that other sale as well, just to ensure that that could go through smoothly so that our own home could be sold!The manner in which Sharon kept us fully informed of every step in the process was also incredibly impressive. I arranged a number of viewings with House and other agents on a weekend in February 2020 (pre-COVID-19). Doug from House & Sons was our first viewing of the day and was really helpful.
