The key was to offer good old fashioned service standards with an honest ethic for hard work, and to build a team of people with flair, enthusiasm and a general interest in property.

    IMS Lettings have been established for 10 years and now manage over 6,000 properties making them one of the largest lettings agents in the UK. IMS Lettings specialise in letting clean, well presented properties to quality professional tenants. IMS do not deal with Students or DSS clients.     IMS Lettings was set up 10 years ago borne out of the frustration with poor service and overcharging from Letting Agents who were members of Professional Bodies. The Lettings industry is unregulated and therefore anyone can set up a Letting or Estate Agency without any qualifications or even experience.

    The IMS board of 5 Directors have over 100 years combined experience in the property industry whether developing sites, buying, selling, investing, letting and managing properties.

    "I am an IMS landlord. On 22nd May i received a call from Michelle to say that the tenants had given notice of their leaving date. I mentioned to her that I knew of someone that was interested in moving into the property. I spoke to Michelle again today and voiced my concerns that the new tenant wasn't going to move into the property until the beginning of August, thus leaving the property empty for around 5 weeks.

    Michelle took the new tenants number to explain that they were going to put the house back on the market and explained my concerns. By the end of the working day she had spoken to the tenant and it was agreed that he would move in just after the old tenants moved out.

    I was very impressed with how efficient she was and by how quickly things had been sorted out. She called me a few times today to update me with what was happening.

    I have recently, over the last 2 weeks, been dealing with one of your employees Jessica Ainsley, with regards to letting a property @ Thames Way, Hilton, Derby. I am letting the property due to relocating temporarily to East Midlands Airport. I hadn't realised the amount of work involved in sorting out the property as I assumed my company would make the arrangements (they didn't), and along the way I caused confusion with miss conceived messages and what seemed constant phone calls to Jessica.

    On behalf of myself would you please acknowledge the amount of work Jess has put it regarding the arrangements for renting including application fees, rental agreements, she has gone above and beyond what good customer service is and I will recommend IMS to anyone else looking to rent in the East Midlands areas.     "This is my second experience with IMS Lettings.

    My first experience was very pleasant but brief as we were just viewing a property. In hindsight I do wish that I dealt with IMS and chose a property with you, but I had seen a property that I really liked with another agent.     "We would just like to say how impressed we were with the service IMS delivered during our recent traumatic experience with another Derby letting agent. We were due to move into a five bedroom property on the 18/04/12 (allowing five weeks notice) and had arranged removals, mail re-direction, SKY etc only to learn, by calling the other agent ourselves on the 17th that the tenants were still in the property, were refusing to move, and we could not move in. As my partner had sold and I had served notice we were effectively homeless. We contacted IMS to view a property on the morning of 18/04/12 and met Dan at 4pm to view.
