    Our first Presentation on the 11th October, held at Coppice House, Morton Hall, is 

    'Assessing the development potential of your land' and will be presented by Philip Cobbold.

    Topics covered include:-

    • Legislative framework;

    • The development plan for the area;

    • Land bids;

    • The relevance of the 5 year housing land supply;

    • Sustainability; and,

    • Affordable housing requirements.

    Phil Cobbold is a Chartered Town Planner and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute with over 30 years experience in planning and development. Phil started his career in local government in 1984 and worked as a planning officer for six different local authorities across Suffolk and Essex. He has worked in private practice for the last 13 years and established his own consultancy in 2009. The business became a limited company in 2015. Based in Felixstowe but operating across East Anglia, Phil Cobbold Planning Ltd can provide a professional service on all aspects of planning and development from initial appraisals through to expert evidence at Public Inquiries. Phil's clients include regional house builders, developers, local authorities and individuals.

    Future Presentations include:-

    Legal side to selling/buying land and what to consider

    Mortgage Lending and more for first time buyers/Shared Ownership and investors

    Housing Associations and how they can add benefit to your development and what they offer to the community

    A lover of properties, Jacqui's experience in new homes, land and the 2nd hand market helps to link all the elements of Linnet together. Keen on new experiences, Jacqui has tried her hand at Drumming, motor cycling and is often seen taking a turn around a ballroom dance floor when she's not got muddy boots on and walking her dog. Never one to avoid a challenge Jacqui is great at overcoming objections, looking for solutions and getting the best result all round.

    EMILY PHILLIPS - Lettings Manager
    Emily has a number of years of experience in Residential Lettings and has been with Linnet since June 2015. Emily enjoys a fast paced working environment and being kept busy but also the client relationships that are built with tenants and Landlords alike. She also likes ensuring enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. When not in work Emily is heavily involved with a local netball club playing and umpiring, she also likes shopping and cooking a Sunday roast!

    Kate has been working at Linnet in various roles since 2006 and has considerable experience in all aspects of the business. No matter how small the problem she will do her best to help you. She is working towards her NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management to consolidate her knowledge. Out of work she enjoys camping weekends away and knitting.

    EIMEAR LYNCH - Sales Administrator
    Eimear moved to the UK from Ireland in 2014 with her family in search of new opportunities. Having obtained a BA Degree in Humanities and a HDip in Education Eimear taught Geography and Music for 10 years prior to joining Linnet. She enjoys being part of a friendly and close knit team and says the best parts of the jobs are building close relationships with clients and providing a service that people can trust. When not in work Eimear has a passion for music, cooking, animals and has just become a mother for the 2nd time to a beautiful baby girl!
