    Having worked as a St Austell estate agent since the start of the millennium, Paul has gained a great reputation for his knowledge of the local housing market. He has worked for Millerson since January 2013 and has recently taken on the role of Branch Sales Manager in our St Austell branch. As well as working in St Austell, Paul has had spells valuing in the Truro, Newquay, Bodmin, Redruth and Camborne areas.

    Paul Thomas - Business Development Manager
    Paul has been part of Millerson since 2001 when he joined as a Branch Manager for the St Ives office. His career started with Geofrey Miller 20 years earlier though as a trainee in 1981 in Newquay. Since then he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge helping people across Cornwall to but and sell their homes. A Cornishman and family man he now works closely with the Launceston, Liskeard, St Austell, Truro and Falmouth offices.

        At last... An estate agency that really does live Up to its promises! After three years of attempting to sell our lovely 300 year-old cottage in the idyllic rural hamlet of Gwennap Churchtown, my wife and I were at our wits end as to what to do next. Having appointed and dis-instructed a total of five local and mostly high profile agents during that time, we had become completely disillusioned by the apparent lack of commitment, ingenuity and dedication shown by the majority of those agents and their loose regard to providing feedback and proactive recommendations. We had also become wary of yet again falling into the trap of appointing an agent whose assessment of asking/achievable price was pitched to 'win' the instruction, only for them to turn round just a few weeks later and recommend a price reduction. We had cynically concluded that the approach employed by most agents is to get the instruction, use 'scatter-gun' marketing to attract enquiries and hope for the best. Ultimately, estate agency seems to be a numbers game - win some, lose some. What really impressed us with in our experience with Millerson was the no-nonsense, well-researched insight, advice and guidance they provided from the outset. The Firm's commitment to producing property particulars of the highest order (superb photographs and copy), coupled with an excellent marketing armoury, proactive representation through its three local offices (Truro, Falmouth and Redruth), professional presentation at viewings, timely and unprompted feedback, friendly, helpful and smiling staff, made us feel that we had at last found the 'right' agent. The fact that Millerson only came on board in January and a buyer was not found until August meant that we still needed to 'dig in' deep in respect of our hopes and expectations during what has continued to prove to be a tough and difficult property market. However, unlike our previous experiences, never at any time did we feel 'abandoned' by Millerson and their diligence, dedication, perseverance and professionalism have been deservedly rewarded. As for my wife and I, we have finally been able to move forward with our lives thanks to the team at Millerson.
