      As with all agents there is a fees that will apply when renting a property through Move On.

      Move In Fees:

      Single person: £300.00 + V.A.T. = £360.00

      Couple: £400.00 + V.A.T. = £480.00

      Guarantor: £100 +VAT = £120.00(if required)

      Permitted Occupier: £100 + VAT = £120 (dependant over 18)

      Right to Rent Check if no valid UK British Passport: £25 +VAT = £30 per person

      The fees above include referencing fees, arrangement fees, and check in fees.

      If for any reason you apply for a property and you do not take up a tenancy, please be aware you will forfeit your fees.

      During a tenancy with Move On, the following charges will be applicable:

      If you renew your tenancy after the initial term a charge of £102 for a further six months or £144 for a twelve month tenancy will apply. Rollovers to a maximum of 3 months will be £60.

      If you have agreed to renew your tenancy and change your mind in the last month a cancellation fee will apply of £102 to cover admin charges.

      If we receive a cheque from you which has to be re-presented to the bank or is returned for whatever reason, a £30.00 charge will apply due to bank charges that we may incur as well as increased administration. This does not include any bank charges incurred by the landlord (see below).

      As time is a precious commodity, if an appointment is made for an inspection of the property which you fail to keep, a £48 charge will apply unless we have received 24 hours prior notice.

      An administration charge of £42 will automatically be applied if your rent is 7 days late. If the landlord incurs bank charges as a result of rent being paid late or remaining in arrears then you will also be liable for these charges.

      Should you, at any stage or for any reason, request an early release from a fixed term tenancy a non-refundable administration fee of £600.00 will apply due to costs involved in re-marketing and administration. Please note that under the Housing Act 1988, Landlords are not obliged to grant early release and this is done at our discretion. Where early release has been granted, the tenant is still responsible for the rent up to a new a tenant has been found and moved in or this tenancy has expired whichever comes first. Tenants can only be removed from/added to a tenancy with written consent from Move On.

      If we need to make an amendment to your tenancy by way of adding or removing an approved additional tenant then a charge of £144.00 will apply. Tenants can only be removed from/added to a tenancy with written consent from Move On.

      All cleaning and repairs, etc should be carried out by tenants prior to vacation and handover of a property at the end of the Tenancy. However, should we at the end of your tenancy, need to arrange any repairs, cleaning or other works, resulting from you tenancy in a property, we will be entitled to charge £60.00 per contractor arranged. This will be limited to a maximum of £240.00 but the minimum charge is £60.00.

      A charge for the initial end of tenancy inspection/check out will be £90.00, should we need to carry out further inspections as a result of late handover of a property due to outstanding cleaning and repairs etc then a fee of £36.00 will apply for each additional visit made.

      In the event that you lock yourself out of the property and require us to attend with keys a charge of £60.00 will apply. Attendance is at our discretion so please guard all keys well.

      Any Standing Order for rent received after vacation of property, a fee of £18 will be charged for reimbursement of monies.

      Any Duplicate copies of Tenancy paperwork will incur a £30 administration fee.

      You will reimburse any costs caused by the Landlord of eviction fees. This will include all Court Costs, legal representative costs, Bailiff costs and locksmith costs.

      Sharon Canning is the owner of Move On Sales and Lettings. Sharon's experience spans over 3 decades, starting with purchasing her first property at the age of 19 and becoming a landlord, to working in the property industry for 25 years and owning Move On for 10 years. Sharon has been runner up or won numerous awards including being a National Award winner in July 2016. The awards have been for Employer, Small Business, Entrepreneur, Life Time Achievement, DOT COM and PR.       Gina has been a part of the success of Move On since 2006.       In 2015 Ben Wolfenden took advantage of the Positive Outcomes apprenticeship in Estate Agency Business and Sales.       Nicky Scott, Maintenance and Property Manager
      Nicky Joined Move On in September 2005. It has been said that when Sharon took over the business, Nicky came along with the furniture! Having worked most of the roles in Move On (except Accounts), she has settled in the maintenance department. She is always happy to help the staff as she relishes being part of a team. Additionally, she is always ready to help landlords, tenants and contractors. Her memory for properties and tenants has become a thing of legend within the office - being compared to that of an elephant! Her second passion is working as secretary for the Scooter club, where she raises money for many local charities.

        Sharon Canning is the owner of Move On Sales and Lettings. Sharon's experience spans over 3 decades, starting with purchasing her first property at the age of 19 and becoming a landlord, to working in the property industry for 25 years and owning Move On for 10 years. Sharon has been runner up or won numerous awards including being a National Award winner in July 2016. The awards have been for Employer, Small Business, Entrepreneur, Life Time Achievement, DOT COM and PR. Sharon puts her success down to having an amazing team who follow her ethos in giving outstanding service to all their clients.

        Jonathan Moss, Sales Manager
        Jonathan joined the Move On team almost a year ago, bringing an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience from a career that has taken him across the globe. Not only does he have a unique insight into the local and international property market, but he brings a steady and decisive leadership, which includes executive skills in management and business analysis. This ensures an efficient and enjoyable buying/ selling experience for all concerned. In his spare time, he plays a number of musical instruments, having once been a member of the Royal Marines Band.

        Gina has been a part of the success of Move On since 2006. Over the years, she has achieved success in every role given to her and, as a result of her diligence, talent and professionalism, she is now 'General Manager'. One of her passions is to take the stress away from Landlords and find the ideal professional tenant for their property as well as ensuring they are legally protected. Furthermore, her work ethic, combined with an incredible enthusiasm, makes her customer service second to none. Gina also supports several causes and charities, particularly when she worked for Sequel Solutions who support vulnerable homeless people in the local area.

        Nicky Scott, Maintenance Manager
        Nicky Joined Move On in September 2005. It has been said that when Sharon took over the business, Nicky came along with the furniture! Having worked most of the roles in Move On (except Accounts), she has settled in the maintenance department. She is always happy to help the staff as she relishes being part of a team. Additionally, she is always ready to help landlords, tenants and contractors. Her memory for properties and tenants has become a thing of legend within the office - being compared to that of an elephant! Her second passion is working as secretary for the Scooter club, where she raises money for many local charities.

        Christine Brewer, Account Manager
        Christine joined Move On in 2009 with over 13 years of experience as a landlord. Known amongst the staff as "mum", she uses her skills to support members of the team, tenants and landlords alike. Her fantastic eye for detail combined with a superb track record in finance, ensures that the arrears are kept to a minimum (less than 1.75%).

        Kayley Watkins, Lettings Property Consultant
        Kayley started in July 2015 as an apprentice and now has the NFOPP Level 3 Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property. An up-and-coming entrepreneur, she has developed an attention to detail beyond her years. She is naturally smiley, upbeat and passionate about her work. She has aspirations within the business and would love to property develop in her future. She is part of Broadstone Gym and until recently played netball for Poole. Additionally, she can speak three languages and would like to learn more!

        Jacqui joined Move On in April 2016. Her background has predominantly been investment bank management in the financial sector for over 25 years. More recently her exploits have see her leave the corporate world to focus on nurturing small businesses as a business development manager supporting clients advertising campaigns with on-line magazine, virtual tour and radio campaigns which has led her to run her own weekly business show. her career change has extended into involving herself in voluntary work where she works within a team of 20 Executive Directors on the board that runs Bournemouth chamber of Trade and Commerce. Jacqui's love is meeting and interacting with people and so with Move On she is able to extend this to ensure that all clients are well cared for and second to none in open communication and quality of service.
