    To get things started Savill Andrews offers a free of charge and with no obligation rental valuation. During the rental valuation we will talk you through and actions that we feel may benefit the property and therefore maximise the rental income as well as ensure your property meets the legal requirements. Every property is different, we also take into account the type and condition of the property as well as the location and demand to ascertain the achievable rent.

    Finding you a home

    We know finding a home to rent can be difficult, at Savill Andrews we will guide you through the processes and paperwork.

    When you find a property
    When you have seen the property you are interested in renting, all occupiers/ guarantors over the age of 18 will need to submit a formal application on our website.

    Once applications are approved by the landlord, a holding deposit of 1 weeks' rent will be paid to the agent. This will either be withheld if references fail due to any adverse information not being declared, or will be deducted from your first months' rent if references are passed. 

    References include credit checks, current employment details, previous Landlord/Letting Agents references, and ID verification. Once all passed, a security deposit of 5 weeks' rent will need to be paid to the agent, and will be held by a Government Protection Scheme.

    Proof of ID
    Identification documentation and proof of current residency must be provided for each adult wishing to live within the property. Landlords and Letting Agents are obliged to carry out Right to Rent checks to determine the immigration status of all prospective adult tenants before the start of a tenancy.

      Gary has been an independent mortgage adviser for nearly 25 years and had is own IFA business in Chard since 2006.Gary is an expert in all aspects of personal finance including mortgages, remortgages, equity release, buy to let, and home and family protection.       Rose is our accounts manager she processes rents making sure our landlords receive their payments. She also ensures contractor invoices are checked and authorised, as well as any other general enquiries.

      Chloe is our sales negotiator, she joined us in August 2022 with one year of previous experience in Sales and lettings at Savill Andrews. Chloe carries out valuations, viewings and negotiations of properties in residential sales. Her responsibilities include liaising with vendors, purchasers and solicitors to ensure the sales processes are handled smoothly and efficiently.

      Andrea is our Office manager and Senior letting negotiator. She joined our team in May 2023, with 10 years prior Lettings experience. Andrea carries out valuations and viewings on our rental properties. Andrea also manages the day-to-day goings on in our office and is responsible for the branch running efficiently.
