    At Oakfield we have been based in Hastings since 1996 and we pride ourselves on our wealth of in-depth local knowledge in addition to our awareness of the market.

    We have a large, vibrant office located in a prime position situated between Hastings train station and the Town Centre.

    We have a highly experienced, dedicated team based in Hastings who are able to understand the individual needs of our clients whether you are selling, buying, letting out your property or looking to rent a new home.

    We take training very seriously all of our staff members are either qualified or studying for their NAEA (National Association for Estate Agents) or ARLA (Association for Residential Letting Agents).

    Kerry Newstead - ARLA, NAEA . Branch manager
    Kerry started at Oakfield back in 2005 as a Sales Negotiator, she quickly progressed to Sales Manager and then further on to Hastings Branch Manager where she led an extremely busy and very successful team. With in-depth experience and knowledge of both sales and lettings Kerry is able to lead a team with a hands on approach, offering guidance and support to staff. Kerry is known for being hard working, extremely organised and having the ability to think on her feet and make decisions. In 2011 Kerry made the decision to leave Oakfield to start a family. During this time Kerry managed a private portfolio of properties personally dealing with all aspects of the tenancies in addition to dealing with accounts, maintenance and new mortgages. After having two children and getting married, Kerry returned to Oakfield in 2015 to take over the reins of the Hastings office as Branch Manager once again. Since returning Kerry has enjoyed getting back in contact with the wealth of clients, Vendor and Landlords she had previously built up as well as meeting many new people. In her personal time Kerry loves nothing more than spending time with her young family.

    Hannah Stanbridge - Assistant Branch Manager
    Hannah had been working in administration and customer care for the past 9 years. Starting at Oakfield in 2009 as Branch Co-Ordinator for the Hastings Branch. Hannah progressed and became a valued member of the team , she was promoted to Senior Branch Co-Ordinator and has recently been promoted again to Assistant Branch Manager. Hannah is responsible for the smooth running of the branch along with all administration, assisting both the Lettings and Sales team and working closely with the Branch Manager. With plenty of experience and one of the longest serving Oakfield employees . Hannah deals with all day to day running of the branch dealing with landlords, vendors and applicants on a daily basis. In her spare time Hannah is a dedicated mum to her young son, enjoys spending time with her friends and family .

    Hollie Stinson - Marketing Consultant
    Hollie Joined Oakfield in 2014 and is the Lettings Negotiator of the Hastings branch, changing her career path to focus on the Property Industry. In her previous jobs Hollie has worked in call centres which has boosted her customer service skills a huge amount. Working in a call centre also contributed to Hollies fantastic time management by working towards targets. Hollies daily tasks involve; marketing proposal meetings, communicating with landlords regarding updates and feedback, registering applicants, letting properties, carrying out rental valuations as well as listing properties. Hollie is very keen to expand her knowledge of the property industry and is currently studying the Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management. During her free time Hollie enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as going to the cinema and going out for dinner.

    Adam Sellers - Marketing Consultant NAEA
    Adam joined the Oakfield team in 2013 a role which suited Adam down to the ground and he has excelled in, he was given the opportunity to further his training by studying The Level 3 Technical Award in Estate Agency of which he became a member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). Within Adam's role his key responsibilities involve; market appraisals, communicating with vendors regarding updates and feedback, registering applicants and matching them potential properties, and progressing every sale agreed ensuring a swift completion. Adam takes a great deal of pride in preparing his written property particulars always complementing all instructions with professional standard photographs. Outside of work Adam is a keen supporter of Leeds United, his favourite football team and enjoys the occasional round of golf at his local course.

    Jamie Price - Property Marketing Consultant
    Jamie graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University where he studied Sport & Leisure Management. After this he started with Oakfield as a Sales Negotiator in July 2014 in our Hastings branch, since then Jamie has swiftly progressed to become one of our Property Marketing Consultants where he is not only selling properties but also listing properties in the Hastings area. Within Jamie's role, he deals with getting new properties on the market and then marketing these properties through to completion, registering applicants looking for sales properties, booking and arranging viewings, then negotiating between vendors and applicants in order to agree a deal which can be agreed by all parties. Jamie is furthering his training and is currently half way through studying The Level 3 Technical Award in Estate Agency, once qualified, Jamie will become a full member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). During his free time Jamie enjoys playing football competitively which he has done since the age of 6, he is a supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and enjoys attending fixtures where possible. Jamie also plays snooker competitively in the Hurst Green & District league and enjoys playing wherever his busy work schedule allows him to.

    Joshua Thompson - Negotiator
    Joshua started with Oakfield in February 2014 as a Branch Co-ordinator in our Head office, his role was to maintain the smooth running of the office, deal with daily administration and manage our in house maintenance staff. Joshua has recently been promoted to a Lettings Negotiator in our busy Hastings branch to which is committed and eager to learn new skills every day. Joshua has gained a lot of experience in customer service from working in the retail industry for several years. When he is not busy at work, Joshua enjoys Socialising with friends and keeping fit.

    VIc - Oakfield's home guide, takes pride in himself for being honest with people and always trying to find their perfect property. When it comes to Oakfield Vic Reed was put in with the foundations, starting with Oakfield more than 19 years ago. Everyone who knows Vic loves him for his happy go lucky persona and his fantastic array of hats.     Lauren is a highly regarded member of the team within the Hastings Branch as our Branch Co-Ordinator. With her excellent organisation skills and outstanding customer service Lauren is able to maintain the smooth running of the branch and deal with daily administration. Within Laurens role she deals with all aspects of administration including putting on properties new properties for sale and lettings including drawing up floor plan, negotiating tenancy renewals, organising the daily diary and maintaining the key register Prior to working for Oakfield Lauren graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in September with a degree in Sociology and Social Science where she furthered her organisational skills. Beforehand she worked in a supermarket for five years in a variety of different departments which boosted her customer service skills and also gave her an insight into the world of sale. When Lauren is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, visiting new places and involving herself with photography.

      I had used Oakfield effectively to assist in property letting over the years so included them as one of three on a shortlist when choosing an agent when it came to selling. The property was inspected and valued efficiently and their contract terms very acceptable so they were selected to act on the sale. The flat sold very quickly and they assisted greatly in trouble shooting the issues that arose during the pre-contract stage where the solicitors seemed to fail.         I can only say it's been a very easy experience 
        Initially I contemplated using Oakfield purely because of how close they were to where I work. But from the moment I walked in they were excellent. The initial greeting was immediate and then I was directed towards Adam and he took over the whole process. I felt his valuation was a little shy of where I wanted it to be and so he diplomatically put it on the market at the price I suggessted, but was clear it would be a big ask to get that price. The viewings came immediately, and I was kept fully informed on what was going on at all times.
