  We'd heard plenty of nightmare stories about how stressful it can be to sell and buy a house at the same time, so we did some research into finding an agent we could count on. We are SO glad we picked Pacitti-Jones, and so very pleased with how the Burnside team helped us from start to finish. Lynne Campbell was our initial contact and she proved to be a great communicator, always professional and always willing to explain everything (even multiple times) with patience and forbearance. Paul McTamney made two visits to our home; first, to advise on how best to present our property to attract the most interest, and second, to view the results of our efforts and give us feedback. He took a great deal of time with us and gave us detailed advice on how best to present each room, which we tried to follow to the letter. Paul really knows his stuff, and we think that's the main reason we had an offer on our house about 14 hours after it went on the market! That, and the beautiful photographs taken by Salim! We were then handed over to our fantastic solicitors (Nuala Ashe and Sabina Donegan) who began dealing with the legal aspects of the sale of our property and the purchase of our new place. Unfortunately, around five weeks into the process, our first buyer backed out. We were gutted, and more than slightly panicked, especially at the thought of losing the new house we'd made an offer on. However, the PJ team swung straight into action. Sabina kindly relayed the information to the Burnside team (because, honestly, I was too upset to speak for a while!) and then Julie in the Burnside office immediately began preparing to put our house back on the market. By the time I spoke to her a few hours later, she had our property back online, and by the evening we had more prospective buyers coming to view the place. Two days later, we had another two offers! Phew. Being on that rollercoaster was not fun, but the guys at Pacitti-Jones were absolute superstars in the way they handled it (and kept us calm). Our sale was eventually concluded and so was our purchase of our new place, and we couldn't be happier. Throughout the entire process the PJ team were absolutely stellar. If you want experts who are at all times professional but who are also friendly, approachable and supportive, then you cannot go wrong with this team. There's a lot to be said for the peace of mind you get when you know for sure you're in good hands.
