    So who is Peter Barry? ....

    We are often asked who 'Peter Barry' is and if he is still at the company.

    In fact, there never was anyone called Peter Barry. The company was set up by Peter Langridge & Barry Tonks back in 1983 who, possibly because they couldn't decide who to name the business after, just combined their Christian names. As they've both since moved on it can be confusing but on the upside it does make it easy to spot sales people when they call the office and ask to speak to 'Peter Barry' or 'Mr Barry' - a regular occurrence.

    Peter and Barry sold the business in 1991 to one of their employees, Keith Howard. He went on to run it successfully as a primarily sales office for the following 9 years.

    The current owner, Justin Burns, took over Peter Barry in 2000 and set up the Lettings department shortly afterwards. Both departments, and the company as a whole, have grown considerably over the last 15 years to become one the the leading agents in the area.

    Charlotte Delph MARLA- Lettings Manager
    Charlotte is a qualified member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA), and leads the lettings and management team after working for several years in a North West London agency. Charlotte is delighted to have joined the team at Peter Barry in October 2015, and has begun building on the excellent foundations that are already in place. Having qualified as an ARLA professional letting agent herself, she is also supporting members of the team who have embarked on the same qualification. Charlotte enjoys water skiing, swimming and baking in her spare time, and has recently moved to Winchmore Hill.

    Nez joined the Peter Barry team in 2013, previously working at a local agent earning 2 years experience in the marketing industry. As senior negotiator for the sales and lettings team you are likely to meet Nez at property valuations and at viewings. Nez has always lived in the local area where she enjoys socialising and enjoying evenings out, but she also enjoys travelling the world. She returned to Peter Barry in 2016 after the birth of her son in 2014.
