At Scott-Bates & Coles Lettings and Estates, we aim to provide the very best levels of service to our clients, whether they are a landlord or tenant.
With a combined experience of ten years in the Devon property market, we use our extensive local knowledge to tailor our service to the individual landlord and property. Our aim is to change the stereotype of a much maligned industry, with a fresh approach to the lettings process which relies on our personal, high quality, and up to date service.
During this time of economic decline, as property sales have dipped, property rental has been a lifeline for many Property Agents. This has led to the emergence of numerous lettings agents, whether wholly new companies, or indeed off-shoots of established Estate Agents, keen to raise much needed additional revenue. Our fear is that many such companies are not necessarily equipped, or indeed committed, to providing what is a very specialist service.
Property letting is filled with legal obligations, with government legislation changing regularly. Tenants depend on letting agents and landlords working together to provide suitable and safe homes that meet all relevant regulations. We pride ourselves on being Lettings specialists, utilizing both our own experience, and the most sophisticated lettings software to ensure we are always up to date with our advice and procedures, assuring landlords and tenants alike that they are in safe hands.
