    We're an independent North and North West London estate agent with offices in Finchley, Hendon and Mill Hill. We know that estate agents often get a reputation for poor customer service, especially with tenants.     Squires Estates charges a flat administration fee of £125 per person and will charge £50 per guarantor needed.

    Additional occupant fees if the tenancy agreement has started are £150 plus vat.

    The Tenant is liable for the check-out inventory. The cost varies depending on the size of the property and if it's furnished or unfurnished.

    Pet disclaimers and additional deposits will also depend on the property and Landlord, however, Squires Estates would generally ask for another 2 - 6 weeks rent on top of the standard deposit.

    We established Squires Estates in 2004 on Squires Lane, Finchley - hence our name. Starting with just the two of us, we have worked to build up Squires Estates to the successful business it is today and now employ a team of experienced negotiators, a secretary, and trusted property managers and administrators.

    After four years of trading at Squires Lane, we opened a second Squires branch in Mill Hill in 2008. Then, another four years later in 2012, we had grown large enough to open a third Squires branch in Hendon.

    Our dedicated and personable team hold a wealth of knowledge on the local area. Our commitment to and love for the local area is clear from our voluntary work, and we regularly sponsor a range of local events. Most of us have lived and grown up in the North and North West London area, and we are passionate about giving back to this great community. We are always happy to share our experience with you, giving you expert tips on the local property market to help you with your sale or property hunt.

    We have an interconnected approach with our three offices that sets us apart from our competitors.       When we initially decided to let the flat in 2009 we were very nervous about finding an agent and we felt sure that we would be ripped off for management fees! I can't remember exactly what it was that you said or did when we first met, but we immediately felt that we could trust you and Squires' fees were slightly lower than the other agents in Finchley.

      You and your team found us a good tenant within a couple of weeks, arranged for carpet cleaning and rent insurance. You sent us text messages updating us on progress every day, which was invaluable given that we were on the road cycling across Europe.

      You looked after the property for us continuously for just over 4 years with no vacant periods. During that time we had 3 different tenants which you found for us very quickly. You managed the contracts, deposits, cleaning, and gardening when the tenants changed, without us having to do anything except reply to a few emails from you. You arranged for minor repairs to the roof, replacement of old appliances, and payment of invoices from our freeholder, again without us having to do anything more than write a few emails and transfer money.       When we decided to sell the flat and move to Belfast last summer, we were still living in Ecuador and we had only been back to the flat once since 2009. We had never sold a property before and you really helped us understand the process, much more than our solicitor did. You put the property on the market whilst the last tenant was still renting it and you showed it to about 20 prospective buyers before we returned to the UK.

      You got us several good offers close to the asking price and we agreed a sale within a few weeks.
