       The house was sold as part of the estate of my late sister who died in June 2014. The family was unfamiliar with the housing situation in Marlborough and relied heavily on the local knowledge and expertise of the professionals we engaged. There was a wide discrepancy in valuations received from several agents which confused us . However yours was the most accurate based on the price we eventually achieved. We were fully involved throughout the sale process and reassured by the practices and attitudes of all Straker staff with whom we had contact. The advice we were given at all stages was sound and demonstrated concern for our best interests at all times. Although we were allocated a number of different liaison contacts during the sale period, this did not adversely affect the level of service we experienced. 

       2. Did you feel that the feedback throughout the marketing was helpful? 

       We feel that your response to our decision to ask Strakers to act on our behalf was very positive carried out with efficiency and care. The aim to market the house as soon as possible but without compromising quality was appreciated. Communication of information directly with our family and through our solicitor was excellent even though family members were widely dispersed and your main contact was travelling abroad for 6 weeks towards the end of the sale period. Excellent professional photos of the house were taken and submitted for our approval. All the initial aspects of the marketing process were discussed thoroughly with us, so that we were aware of what needed to be done. The detailed understanding of the local housing market was evident and ensured that the advice we were given was accurate and allowed us to make informed decisions about the house sale. Contact by phone and email was focussed and relevant avoiding a constant flow of unnecessary information. 

       3. Is there anything we could improve on that would have made your experience better? 

       We were very satisfied with our experience and cannot suggest any improvements to the service we received.
