Surrey Estates is an online estate agent solely covering the county of Surrey.
The concept was born from a team of highly successful estate agents who between them, have in excess of 20 years’ experience working in Residential Sales. Having worked for various well known estate agents, locally, nationally and within the highly competitive London market it was becoming more and more apparent the obvious decline of people actually physically walking through the doors of a typical ‘High Street Agent’. That made us ask the question, how long is there going to be a need for a High Street ‘presence’?
Could we challenge the traditional method of selling or buying property yet still provide exceptional service to clients and purchasers? Is there room in the market for a more niche service whereby we can still sell property and deliver outstanding customer service?
We firmly believe the answer is yes!
The Rise of the Online Estate Agent
In this fast paced life, we now find ourselves living in, the vast majority of people rely solely on the internet for most of their day to day needs. Be it grocery shopping, buying your next family holiday or car. Selling your home or looking for your new house is no different. It is a widely known statistic that at least 90% of buyers source their new homes via portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla.
We are all aware over the past few years, the increase in nationwide online estate agents being launched, promising to sell your home for a much cheaper, flat fee. This all sounds wonderful however, it demands the question, does customer service then become compromised?
So is there a middle ground?
The answer again is yes!
Why are we different?
We chose to concentrate selling property in the county which we, as a team, live, have a huge knowledge about and more importantly love.
We are predominately online and that is our basic business premise however, we refuse to be faceless. We have a Head Office based just outside Cranleigh in a beautiful rural location. We are open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and we actively encourage our clients and buyers to pop in and see us for a coffee and a chat.
We still retain our traditional values by conducting face to face valuations, accompanying all viewings and negotiating all sales. We are still there, supporting you through the sales conveyancing process right through to completion when we will happily hand over the keys to the new owner in person.
All of these undeniably, crucial services we are still able to provide because where we save money on avoiding expensive high street rents, we are able to invest in our staff who are of the highest calibre and will deliver what they promise.
