      This gives our clients an absolute seamless focus on great customer service and making sure that every opportunity to sell their home is being dealt with by the right person. Too many times we hear that the manager or 'valuer' of a different estate agency really impresses on the valuation, but once a contract has been signed, the sellers rarely hear from them again and just end up dealing with less experienced 'negotiators' who may not know the ins and outs of the property or their clients wants and needs. At The Property Centre we stop this from happening; which is good for our sellers but also good for our buyers, who can have all of their questions about the property answered on the viewing, increasing their ability to make an offer on the viewing itself.

    1. Talk to us
    We're always eager to speak with buyers, the excitement of it all is infectious! There's no such thing as a silly question, you're not supposed to know everything straight away and its ok if you don't! Don't feel that you'll be wasting our time, we love helping buyers of all shapes and sizes on their journey to their new home, you are no exception!

    2. Mortgage Advice

    This is one the most important steps, unless your in a fortunate position to have enough cash, you'll need one! Get as much free advice as you can, if you need advice or want more, we have an excellent financial advisor who would be happy to help!

    3. Watch out for the hidden costs

    Unfortunatley, its not all about just getting your deposit together. There are some additional costs when buying a home, such as conveyancing, stamp duty, surveyors, mortgage valuation and application fees. It's important to consider these costs in advance and save little and often. Don't know how much your move will cost? Give us a call and we'll go through it with you.

    4. Get to know your area

    You may have your heart set on a popular area, but if its popular, so will others.
    Consider looking in a wider selection of areas, this could help you afford more than you thought. If you're set on a particular area, make sure you're registered with all of the estate agents in your area so that you can be made aware of new instructions first!

    5. Know how quickly properties sell

    It's important to know that different price bandings and areas can sell faster or slower, if you want to know the rate of sale in the area you're looking in, give us a call. Knowing this can help how you develop your property search strategy.
