My name is Mark Latham and I am the Branch Manager here at the Urmston Office. I joined Thornley Groves 5 years ago, when we first opened this office. I previously worked for National and International Estate Agents. I brought with me a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, trading in very different markets, generally good, and sometimes very difficult. I have a fantastic team supporting me in the office dealing with both Sales & Lettings and they have been with me for a number of years. My Assistant Manager is John Williams who has worked alongside me for almost 4 years and has an in depth knowledge of the Property Market.

Since Thornley Groves opened its first Branch 25 years ago there has been a strong focus on providing a higher level of customer service to all Vendors, Landlords, potential Buyers and Tenants than any of our competitors. The owners of the business are both still heavily involved in the running of the branches and are committed to develop the best Estate Agents throughout the company.

We offer a complete range of services, exactly what you would expect when dealing with a larger company with a network of offices. We offer a full Lettings, Management and Sales service. We offer free mortgage advise (in Branch) using Lomond Mortgage Services, we can recommend local solicitors at preferred rates, that can help to speed up your transaction. We are also able to recommend local surveyors and reputable trades people for further reports that maybe requested by your buyer or their mortgage provider.

We offer longer opening hours than any of our competitors. We have full time members of staff working six days of the week who all have direct dials and email addresses to make us easier to reach.

Most Estate Agents have a high street office, advertise online and in the local press. This activity will not sell a property; it will generate enquiries. It is how we handle those enquiries that make the difference. Thornley Groves offer pro-active marketing techniques and were the first agent in the Urmston area to bring popular ‘Open House Events’ back to the market place.

My name is Keeley Child and I am the Director for our two, well established and vibrant, Property Management Departments in the City Centre and South Manchester. Following my studies at Alderley Edge School for Girls I was keen to get stuck into working life. Having always had a passion for property and a love of people, property management is the perfect fit for me, I haven’t looked back since!

12 years of experience within this industry has given me a comprehensive insight into all aspects of Property Management. I am supported by Colin Scarbrough, who is our Department Manager for our South Manchester Property Management Department (also covering North Manchester). Colin was born and raised in Sale and has a personal affinity with the South Manchester region and a wealth of experience in the rental industry.
