TORQUAY REAL ESTATE is a family firm started by Jack Lawton in 1972 after years of working with other well known Torbay firms and specialised in the sale of hotels, licensed inns and businesses. Elder son John joined Jack in 1977 and built up the residential side of the business. In 1983 Jack's other son Michael joined the firm and is now most active in the residential sales department. Jack has now retired, so John divides his time between the residential sales and sale of hotels, guest houses, licensed premises, shops, holiday flats, catering establishments and businesses in Torquay, Torbay and South Devon.
Both John and Michael are educated locally and have well established roots in the community, many clients are either existing friends or become so. The firm also follows a policy of helping the local community whenever possible; several local schools and sports clubs have received sponsorship with equipment or fund raising activities.
Torquay Real Estate's offices occupy a prominent corner position on the junction of Reddenhill and Babbacombe Roads, with large display windows and plenty of easy parking close by, an ideal situation for both buyers and sellers.
