Cumbria, with an overall average price of £171,082, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Greater Manchester (£166,305), but was more expensive than Lancashire (£152,432) and Merseyside (£154,506). The most expensive area within Cumbria was Hawkshead (£950,076) and the cheapest was Millom (£93,348).
In the past year house prices in Cumbria were similar to the year before and similar to 2008 when they averaged at £171,987.
