Most of the sales in Flintshire over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £216,437. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £123,780 and terraced properties averaged at £106,900.

Flintshire, with an overall average price of £159,600, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Conwy (County of) (£158,675), but was more expensive than Denbighshire (£144,150) and Wrexham (County of) (£150,600). The most expensive area within Flintshire was Cilcain (£411,000) and the cheapest was Trelogan (£75,000).

In the past year house prices in Flintshire were similar to the year before and 3% down on 2007 when they averaged at £164,594.
