House Prices in Hampshire

Most of the sales in Hampshire over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £192,596. Detached properties had an average sold price of £388,071 and semi-detached properties averaged at £231,417.

Hampshire, with an overall average price of £251,114 was more expensive than nearby Isle Of Wight (£192,297), but was cheaper than Berkshire (£304,345) and West Sussex (£276,156). The most expensive area within Hampshire was Chilworth (£762,107) and the cheapest was North End (£140,099).

In the past year house prices in Hampshire were 3% up on the year before and similar to 2010 when they averaged at £249,084.
