Last year most property sales in Lincolnshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £221,046. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £138,602, while terraced properties fetched £119,086.

Lincolnshire, with an overall average price of £170,201, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Nottinghamshire (£173,930), but was cheaper than Rutland (£294,594) and Leicestershire (£206,798). The priciest area within Lincolnshire was Barnack (£354,325) and the least expensive was Gainsborough (£101,850).

During the last year, sold prices in Lincolnshire were 3% up on the previous year and 11% up on 2007 when the average house price was £153,073.
