Last year most property sales in Mid Wales involved detached properties which sold for on average £317,076. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £225,714, while terraced properties fetched £155,427.
Mid Wales, with an overall average price of £259,970 was more expensive than nearby North Wales (£226,212), South Wales (£232,712) and West Wales (£235,393). The priciest area within Mid Wales was Ceredigion (£260,477) and the least expensive was Powys (£252,863).
During the last year, sold prices in Mid Wales were 8% down on the previous year and 15% up on 2021 when the average house price was £226,985.
