House Prices in North Wales

Most of the sales in North Wales over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £201,611. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £129,584 and terraced properties averaged at £110,074.

North Wales, with an overall average price of £154,619, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Wales (£154,001) and South Wales (£150,194), but was cheaper than Mid Wales (£190,850). The most expensive area within North Wales was Isle Of Anglesey (£161,098) and the cheapest was Denbighshire (£144,463).

In the past year house prices in North Wales were similar to the year before and 7% down on 2007 when they averaged at £166,067.
