Most of the sales in North Wales over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £315,102. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £201,561 and terraced properties averaged at £157,988.
North Wales, with an overall average price of £226,212, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Wales (£235,393) and South Wales (£232,712), but was cheaper than Mid Wales (£259,970). The most expensive area within North Wales was Isle Of Anglesey (£262,265) and the cheapest was Denbighshire (£201,812).
In the past year house prices in North Wales were similar to the year before and similar to 2021 when they averaged at £221,847.
