Most of the sales in North Wales over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £323,695. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £201,761 and terraced properties averaged at £155,821.
North Wales, with an overall average price of £228,614, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Wales (£232,259) and South Wales (£233,063), but was cheaper than Mid Wales (£274,225). The most expensive area within North Wales was Isle Of Anglesey (£285,008) and the cheapest was Denbighshire (£205,714).
In the past year house prices in North Wales were 3% down on the year before and 3% up on 2021 when they averaged at £221,782.
