House Prices in West Sussex

Most of the sales in West Sussex over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £418,736. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £219,113 and semi-detached properties averaged at £257,555.

West Sussex, with an overall average price of £276,156, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby East Sussex (£262,397), but was more expensive than Hampshire (£251,114) and cheaper than Surrey (£392,389). The most expensive area within West Sussex was Rusper (£568,500) and the cheapest was Three Bridges (£174,884).

In the past year house prices in West Sussex were 5% up on the year before and similar to 2010 when they averaged at £272,440.
