Last year most property sales in Yorkshire and the Humber involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £223,105. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £172,870, while detached properties fetched £400,003.

Yorkshire and the Humber, with an overall average price of £238,223, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby North West (£241,880), but was more expensive than North East (£191,098) and cheaper than East Midlands (£264,125). The priciest area within Yorkshire and the Humber was North Yorkshire (£291,750) and the least expensive was East Riding Of Yorkshire (£211,296).

During the last year, sold prices in Yorkshire and the Humber were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2021 when the average house price was £229,304.
