Last year most property sales in Yorkshire and the Humber involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £222,024. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £171,525, while detached properties fetched £393,504.

Yorkshire and the Humber, with an overall average price of £235,529, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby North West (£241,559), but was more expensive than North East (£191,162) and cheaper than East Midlands (£262,805). The priciest area within Yorkshire and the Humber was North Yorkshire (£285,550) and the least expensive was East Riding Of Yorkshire (£209,328).

During the last year, sold prices in Yorkshire and the Humber were 3% down on the previous year and 3% up on 2021 when the average house price was £229,410.
