Yorkshire and the Humber, with an overall average price of £167,578, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby North West (£167,799) and East Midlands (£175,726), but was more expensive than North East (£150,745). The priciest area within Yorkshire and the Humber was North Yorkshire (£207,237) and the least expensive was South Yorkshire (£147,405).
During the last year, sold prices in Yorkshire and the Humber were 4% up on the previous year and 4% up on 2010 when the average house price was £161,229.
