The majority of sales in Allestree during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £259,745. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £200,286, with flats fetching £81,445.
Allestree, with an overall average price of £229,450, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Darley Abbey (£229,826), but was more expensive than Breadsall (£163,389) and cheaper than Quarndon (£676,105).
Overall sold prices in Allestree over the last year were 9% up on the previous year and similar to the 2008 level of £228,911.
