The majority of sales in Allestree during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £296,330. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £210,446, with flats fetching £56,988.
Allestree, with an overall average price of £256,119, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Darley Abbey (£246,571), but was more expensive than Breadsall (£182,690) and cheaper than Quarndon (£650,216).
Overall sold prices in Allestree over the last year were 6% up on the previous year and 12% up on the 2008 level of £227,902.
