The majority of sales in Allestree during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £297,116. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £211,273, with terraced properties fetching £208,895.
Allestree, with an overall average price of £255,742 was more expensive than nearby Darley Abbey (£241,887) and Breadsall (£179,127), but was cheaper than Quarndon (£635,469).
Overall sold prices in Allestree over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 12% up on the 2008 level of £227,902.
