Last year most property sales in Bampton involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £345,865. Detached properties sold for an average price of £549,981, while terraced properties fetched £288,000.
Bampton, with an overall average price of £389,958, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Ducklington (£377,182), but was more expensive than Brize Norton (£281,100) and Carterton (£295,716).
During the last year, sold prices in Bampton were similar to the previous year and 11% up on 2015 when the average house price was £351,039.
