Barking, with an overall average price of £225,481 was cheaper than nearby Upney Lane Hospital (£273,079), Upney (£282,479) and Faircross (£247,133).
Overall sold prices in Barking over the last year were 10% up on the previous year and 9% up on the 2008 level of £207,672.
