Barking, with an overall average price of £262,831 was cheaper than nearby Upney Lane Hospital (£332,125), Upney (£348,671) and Faircross (£281,681).
Overall sold prices in Barking over the last year were 15% up on the previous year and 26% up on the 2008 level of £208,032.
