Most of the sales in Barkingside over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £467,536. Flats had an average sold price of £313,813 and semi-detached properties averaged at £456,834.
Barkingside, with an overall average price of £422,081, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Fullwell Cross (£436,498), but was more expensive than Fairlop (£394,191) and cheaper than Clayhall (£470,202).
In the past year house prices in Barkingside were 5% up on the year before and 13% up on 2015 when they averaged at £374,442.
