Most of the sales in Bath And North East Somerset over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £273,941. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £275,584 and flats averaged at £226,929.

Bath And North East Somerset, with an overall average price of £301,132, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Timsbury (£302,755), but was more expensive than Farmborough (£268,269) and Peasedown St. John (£204,310).

In the past year house prices in Bath And North East Somerset were 8% up on the year before and 3% up on 2010 when they averaged at £291,923.
